The future of Alaska

Alaska's Future

News media in the 19th and 20th centuries was largely one way information. News was given usually once or twice a day, and the news media selected what we saw. Today, news is a 24 hour a day barrage of electronic information that can overwhelm us. It is often hard to sort out what is important or meaningful.

Social Connections

Future for Alaska is an onlinenews media group — a website connected to a Facebook page and YouTube channel that will provide selected information, news, and resources to people interested in Alaska's future.

Our viewpoint is largely conservative — we value liberty, family, strong defense, and economic opportunity. We will focus on a few key items each week that we feel will be of interest to conservatives and independents in Alaska.

There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right.

— Ronald Reagan

Traditional Values

The people who will enjoy our sites will tend to share one or more traditional values. Many of them will value a state and a country where our children are safe; where there is economic opportunity for all; where we stop increasing the federal debt; where we honor traditional marriage; where we support our military; where we protect life including the unborn; where we have a strong national defense; where we support families; where we honor traditional values; where our national government is smaller and is the servant of the people; where we support personal and religious liberty.

My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right.

— Abraham Lincoln

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

— Ronald Reagan
